Beef-less Ground Veggie Pasta

A quick and simple, kid friendly vegetarian pasta. Do you have less than 30 minutes to make dinner? No problem, this meal can be cook and ready to serve in no time
Did I mention its sweet and delicious!
You can find some of these basic ingredients in your fridge. Substitute, substitute! why not use a little imagination, if you don't have it in stock no worries. Try something different.

Before starting, for a more beefy texture don't forget to grab your Gardein groundless beef from a nearby grocery store or any Whole foods locations to be exact. This bag of goodness can be bought for less than $6.
To make this meal even simpler we used an unfrozen premixed vegetable that includes broccoli, peas, carrots and corn. We added mushroom for a meatier texture and earthy taste. Yum! Substitute any kind of pasta you like. This dish if versatile and even go great with fusili, penne, and farfalle (a.k.a bow tie) pasta. Get creative and follow your taste buds.

Beef-less Ground Veggie Pasta
Prep Time: 7 min
Cook Time: 10 min
Notes: Substitute veggies of you choice. Add and subtract to your liking.
Ingredients:
1 cup Gardein Beefless Ground
1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, broccoli, corn and carrots)
1/2 cup of mushrooms
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 tsp oregano
Pepper and salt to taste
1/4 tsp cumin
3 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp brown sugar
Directions:
1. Whisk together soy sauce and brown sugar in small bowl.
2. In a skillet or wok pan add in 2 tbsp of olive (or coconut) oil over medium heat.
3. Once hot, add in mixed vegetables (peas, broccoli, corn and carrots), mushrooms, and beefless ground, stirring occasionally for 2 min.
4. Cover and let it simmer for 2 min.
5. Add in seasonings: oregano, pepper, salt and cumin.
6. Stir and let it simmer for 1 min.
7. Finally add mixed sweet soy sauce, stir until mixture is even.
8. Cook for 3 min
9. SERVE
